We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by various types of damage, including fire, water, mold, and asbestos. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in challenging environments. As a Restoration Technician, you will be instrumental in helping clients recover from unfortunate events and restore their properties to pre-loss condition.
Duties

Perform water damage restoration services, including extraction and drying of affected areas.
Conduct fire restoration tasks such as smoke removal and structural cleaning.
Execute mold remediation processes to ensure safe and effective removal.
Carry out asbestos abatement procedures while adhering to safety regulations.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for various restoration tasks.
Clean carpets and other surfaces as part of the restoration process.
Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop effective restoration plans.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process and timelines.
Skills

Experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Proficiency in carpet cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in restoration work.
Knowledge of mold remediation practices and safety protocols.
Understanding of asbestos abatement procedures is a plus.
Ability to perform fire restoration tasks efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for client interactions and teamwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $19.47 - $20.67 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
