Title: Quality Lab Associate I- EMPQ
Location: Marion, NC
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr on W2 to $26.00/hr on W2

Position Summary:
Assist with room qualifications for the New North Mixing Complex. Provide support to EMPQ SME and EM Lab for New North Mix Complex qualification activities.

Job Responsibilities
•Collect environmental monitoring samples throughout the facility following Standard Operating Procedures on a defined frequency
•Operate equipment such as SAS Air Sampler and Climet Particle Counter for the purpose of collecting air/particulate samples
•Perform surface sample testing using plate and/or swab method
•Performs weekly and Monthly HEPA inspections to ensure integrity of HEPA filters in cleanrooms
•Coordinate sampling activities with EM sampling team and manufacturing department as applicable.
•Compile EM Data into data sheets for analysis.
•Assist with data gathering for related EMPQ investigations.
•Assist with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Revisions as needed to support EMPQ.

Desired Qualities:
•0-2 years of experience, preferably in Pharmaceutical/Medical Device
•Strong Communication and Project Management Skills
•Computer literate/knowledge of Microsoft office applications
•Must have good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team-based environment
•Must have a basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation
•Knowledge of aseptic technique and microbiological testing
•Familiarity with LIMS
