Job Description Summary:Fenwick is seeking a Temporary Senior Email Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for implementing the email marketing strategy, maintaining the email marketing calendar, and ensuring the alignment of email campaigns with the company's branding and business goals. This role will also support the Marketing Operations Systems teams with improving our understanding of key contact engagement through synchronization projects, reporting, data validation, and segmentation initiatives. The Senior Coordinator will play a critical role in enhancing our CRM's data integrity and accuracy, ensuring that the information we hold drives targeted and personalized marketing efforts. Furthermore, this individual will assist in the implementation of processes that streamline email marketing activities, optimize email deliverability, and effectively nurture leads through the marketing funnel to drive revenue growth. This position can be based in any of our U.S. offices and some remote locations.Job Description:Email Marketing Strategy: Assist Sr. Digital Performance Manager and BD with implementing a comprehensive email marketing strategy that includes campaign objectives, content direction, and KPIs to measure success.Campaign Management: Execute and optimize email campaigns, utilizing segmentation, A/B testing, and personalization to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.Content Creation and Coordination: Work closely with the content team to craft compelling email content that resonates with our audience, ensuring that all email communications are on-brand and comply with industry standards and best practices.List Management: Maintain the email contact list, including segmentation and growth strategies. Ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations.CRM Integration: Work closely with the CRM team to ensure seamless integration of email marketing efforts with the CRM system for enhanced lead tracking and customer journey mapping.Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools. Prepare regular reports on key metrics and insights to inform future campaigns.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, market engagement, BD and operations to execute a cohesive and effective email marketing strategy.Innovation: Suggest process improvements to current workflow and stay up to date with the latest email marketing trends and technologies to propose new ideas to enhance campaign effectiveness.Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors, including email service providers, ensuring that services are used effectively.Data Validation: Review and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate and synchronized data on a regular basis.While the Senior Email Marketing Coordinator will be instrumental in driving success through email marketing, their background will also be leveraged across various digital and website-specific projects, ensuring a consistent and impactful user experience, as well as alignment with our company's growth objectives.Additional Digital Marketing & Website Responsibilities:Cross-Functional Strategy Development: Assist the Sr. Digital Performance Manager and Business Development (BD) teams to align email marketing strategies with broader digital initiatives.Website Content Management: Collaborate with content creators to refresh and maintain the accuracy and relevance of website content in line with marketing campaigns and SEO best practices.Digital Asset Optimization: Work with the creative team to ensure digital assets used in email and on the website are optimized for different platforms and user experiences.Lead Generation and Conversion: Contribute to the creation of effective online lead generation strategies, including call-to-action placement, landing page creation, and lead capture forms.SEO Collaboration: Support SEO initiatives by ensuring email content is optimized for search engines and aligned with keywords and meta strategy.Digital Project Support: Assist with special digital projects as assigned, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and with high quality.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCreate and execute email marketing sends.Benchmark email performance and advise on KPIs based on performance analysis.Report on key metrics, analyze and interpret trends, and provide actionable insights based on available performance data.Provide ad hoc email send and analysis support to marketing staff.Ensure accurate and timely ingestion of email marketing data into the rest of the marketing tech stack, including the CRM.Ensure compliance with email privacy laws and regulations.Spot opportunities to try innovative new methodologies and improve the email marketing program.Identify strategies to grow email marketing lists and increase list targeting effectiveness.Perform other duties as requested by the Senior Digital Performance Manager and Associate Director of Marketing Operations or other related duties as assigned.DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSTo perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following competencies:Proven experience in developing and executing strategic email marketing plans that align with business objectives.Ability to analyze and interpret marketing data to inform strategies and report on campaign performance.Familiarity with email marketing and automation platforms (Marketo, Concept, etc.), CRM systems, and basic HTML/CSS for email customization.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Experience working with cross-functional teams and the ability to foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders from various departments.Understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to content marketing and website optimization.Basic knowledge of user experience and user interface design best practices for digital content.A penchant for staying up to date with the latest marketing trends and technologies and the ability to apply innovative ideas to marketing strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and improve marketing processes.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to a variety of audiences.Skills in managing and validating large datasets, with attention to detail and accuracy.Proactive in assuming responsibility and anticipating needs in the execution of marketing projects.Dedicated to producing excellent, detail-oriented work product, while displaying grace under pressure.Reporting to the Senior Digital Performance Manager, the ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in working in digital marketing with a focus in email marketing, high attention to detail and a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a data-driven mindset to support the dynamic needs of the Marketing and Business Development teams. Prior law firm experience and knowledge of Marketo a plus.
