Plant Controller

About the Company and Opportunity:

• $105,000-115,000 + 10% bonus
• CFS is working with a global manufacturer and leader in their market to identify a Plant Controller who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and dig in.

Overview of the Plant Controller position:

• Maintain the general ledger, prepare daily journal entries
• Manage capital expenditures and fixed assets
• Act as liaison between plant and corporate accounting
• Direct month-end close, prepare income statements, cash flow statements, and financial reports
• Monitor spending in key areas and make recommendations to reduce spending, review and update standard costs
• Coordinate with external auditors
• Support budget and forecast preparation processes

Preferred Qualifications for the Plant Controller position:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum three years' experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Thorough understanding of GAAP, debits and credits, assets and liabilities
• Advanced Excel skills; Previous ERP system experience
• Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels of an organization
• Adapts well and can prioritize in a fast-paced environment
