Job Description
Trailer Park's One Studio seeks a talented, ambitious Freelance Jr. Motion Graphics Artist to join our team. This role will primarily support Dark Burn studio's day-to-day production needs. The candidate will work directly with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, and Producers to assist in the development and production of graphic assets for game marketing teasers, trailers, TV spots, and social spots. This is an entry-level position, and the candidate must have basic industry experience or be a recent graduate from a highly qualified creative program.
This freelance position is on-site in the Woodland Hills office. 3 months. Responsibilities - Assist in the day-to-day creative production tasks as assigned by the creative team.
- Proactively manage and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Make formatting, layout, and design changes to current projects based on established design standards and guidelines. Reformat graphics to social formats (1X1, 9X16, etc.)
- Communicate and interact well with producers, team members, and supervisors.
- Problem-solving where editorial and motion graphics challenges meet.
- Networks with internal personnel in their area of expertise.
- Takes the initiative, receives little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new assignments are enough to deliver what is needed.
- Provides creative leads with insights into content readiness and quality expectations.
- Organize and streamline projects based on production templates.
- Works closely with creative leads to better understand concepts, deliverables, and creative tone.
Requirements - Bachelor of Arts, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or related field.
- In-depth After Effects knowledge and experience.
- Professional training with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator.
- Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D, or Maya.
- Ability to prioritize assigned work, adjust to constant changes in workflow, and complete work promptly.
- Demonstrates technical proficiency in an AV/post-production environment.
- Familiar with non-linear editing, working with footage, timelines, and audio production techniques.
- Works effectively in a collaborative team environment. Excellent soft skills, communication, etc.
- Passionate about graphic design, typography, and color theory.
- Works independently with minimal supervision while able to take and follow directions.
- Ability to think creatively and improve upon established processes.
- Excellent at time management, rendering estimates, and quality control.
- Knowledge of the entertainment and game marketing spaces, with a passion for gaming.
