A manufacturing company is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to assemble and test mechanical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical products. This is a part-time position working Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Duties:

• Assemble and test a selection of the company’s products in accordance with drawings, procedures, and work instructions using hand tools
• Record changes required to drawings or parts list to enable production information to be corrected and maintained accurately
• Assist with maintenance of the manufacturing area and with training of others in the team
• Maintain good housekeeping in area and help maintain stock levels
• Use appropriate personal safety equipment when applicable
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement culture by taking part in LEAN activities 

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Lean and Mechanical experience is preferred 
• Must have the ability to read engineering drawings; Ability to read electric schematics is desirable
• Must possess knowledge is production, purchasing, and quality
• Must be able to visually inspect parts, use measuring instruments, and test parts
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel 
• Must be able to practice safe work habits, keep work area clean and net, and be a team player
• Must be comfortable putting together sub-assemblies while sitting and also go and retrieve parts from shelves when needed
• Must have good hand/eye coordination, able to work with small parts, pay attention to detail, and work quickly and efficiently
