Controller

Location: Silverton, Oregon

CFS is working with a client in the agriculture space, seeking a Controller. This family-owned business has impressive tenure with their staff and this position is open due to a retirement. This is a bonus eligible position and offers great benefits.

Position Summary: The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Accounting: Oversee and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Budgeting: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimize working capital.
• Financial Systems: Manage and optimize financial systems, including QuickBooks.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $105,000 - 110,000
Location: Silverton, OR - Onsite
